With the new HDMI®-over-FIBER system from CARDINAL-DVM these signals,including RS232 and infrared information, can be transmitted with no hassle overdistances of up to 300 m/984 ft. using a single OM3 multimode line. This enables the bi-directional transmission of EDID information, with the HDCP copyprotection standard supported up to version 2.2. For this purpose, we offer the robust and compact housing. This model incorporates a NEUTRIK OpticalCON DUOchassis--mount socket that can also accomodate conventional LC connectors.
